Base dolls
Iris:
I named her this because she's my preliminary sketchie thing for my drawing
of the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris. Inspired by Emby
Quinn's doll Bosuteia, and the description of Iris came from Firefly
by Piers Anthony. Her hair is a little intrusive, as it covers up
her shoulder, but if you want to separate it from her body and draw a shoulder
you'll have to do that yourself. Sorry, but I'm making you work a
teeny bit. ^.^
Mai-chan:
Well, I don't like her very much but maybe you can use her...she was the
"preliminary sketchie thing" for another of my pictures, this time of some
random girl named Mai.
Anshii:
Or Anthy. Or Anshi. However the heck you spell her name, this
is Himemiya (insert preferred spelling here) of Shoujo Kakumei Utena.
I was going to make a doll of her but I kinda gave up...she was too misshapen
and I couldn't fix her, but maybe someone out there can. If you want
to make her as an Anshi doll you'll have to give her some more hair...I
only made her movie hairstyle. Oh well. Enjoy her, remember,
she is the Rose Bride and she'll do whatever you want. (doesn't that sound
kinky? I want a Rose Bride...)
Kotori-chan:
I'm not sure if I like her so much...she's based on my cousin (Kotori is
what I call her sometimes) who's 12, so I didn't really give her cleavage
for that reason. You can add it if you want to make her older, tho.
K-chan really did try to dye her hair blue like that once...
Lyra:
Originally a fanart I did of Sailormars, which I edited and gave new hair.
Which explains the senshi-like pose. I like this template a lot myself,
it's not terribly disproportionate like I think some of my other ones are...I'd
use it myself if it weren't, well, a template. ^-^
tiny
doll: You know those little mini-dolls I have on the future page, sort
of like anti-twinky dolls except...they're not? This is the base
doll I use for those, and I've decided to offer it up as a template in
case you want to do a teeny tiny doll. ^-^ It can be a boy or a girl, whichever
you want (I've used it for both)
Ayvah:
Was going to be my base doll for Ginny, but I changed my mind (after I'd
already drawn a whole screenful of clothes for her...^^;;;). You'll
see why when you see the doll. She's a little too...erm, cleavagy?
Well, not that, but her chest is too big for her to be eleven or twelve
(like the age I wanted to make Ginny in the doll). So now she's a
template, so I'll use another base for Ginny, when I do that.
Mahri:
A character from one of my stories, this was traced from a picture I did
of her. I like this template a lot...was seriously considering using
it myself, but I'll be generous and not use it. ^-^ (or it could just be
that I have too many projects on my plate at the moment and couldn't take
on a Mahri KiSS doll)
Lela:
I drew this picture a loooong time ago, and I scanned the preliminary sketch
into the computer to use as a template...yeah, last August. *sweatdrop*
And I didn't get around to template-izing it until just now. I think
she looks slightly scary, but if you put the hair on her it softens up
her face a bit so she doesn't look like she wants to eat you. O_o
Peri:
Also traced off of a sketch, for a picture I haven't even finished yet.
^^;;; I think this is a pretty good one...maybe a little bit big, but pretty
good. I like her coloring a whole lot, too; the green and gold go
well together. She reminds me of Canal from Lost Universe.
Patterns
What are these? Think
of this as a KiSS fabric store, where you can come in and pick out the
kind of fabric pattern for your doll to wear. You download this,
load it into your paint program, draw the outline of, say, a shirt, and
then go to Flood Fill and Pattern and fill the shirt in with this pattern!
You can recolor them or lighten them as you see fit, but whatever you do
with it, credit me in your set if you use it. Preferably with a website
link so other artists can get these too. Now take a look at the "fabrics"
and see if you'd like one of these for your doll...
roses:
pink roses, white background. This design is from Shoujo Kakumei
Utena, BTW.
darker
roses: What it says. It's the above, but colorized a little,
so it's red roses on a dark red background.
flowers:
indigo background with a light purple flowery design, but if you want to
color it differently you can, just use the replacer tool it's easier that
way.
more
flowers: I used these for Chifuri's Chinese dress, red background with
gold flowery stuff.
plaid:
Another pattern I used for Chifuri, this is white with blue plaid.
another
plaid: The lines on this one are slightly closer together, and it's
blue with white and green.
and
yet another plaid: Same as the first one, but it's red.
lace:
I know it looks ugly like this, but you're supposed to replace the green
with your background color (to make it transparent) and the black with
your foreground color if you want, or leave it black. Or maybe make
the green as white and non-transparent? Whatever you want...
camouflage:
First created for the Acacia set...you can color them different colors
too, so they look like those blue and white cloudy camouflage things.
flowers:
Yes, more. This was modified from Chifuri's Chinese dress pattern,
and colored blue and white so that it looks sort of like a vase
argyle:
Or at least as close as I could approximate to argyle. It looks kind
of weird when it's tiled, but okay.
Chinese
print: It's a little like Chifuri's one except I added the circley
things. They should be smaller...
stripes:
Pink, red, white and yellow...it's very Tira, isn't it?
more
stripes: This may look the same as the last one except in different
colors...but IT'S NOT, I'M TELLING YOU! Okay, anyway...
the
return of plaid: bwahaha...the plaids shall take over the world!
Or something like that. Anyway, this is kinda like the old plaids
except a different color scheme...why do I keep making all these damn plaids?
batik
print: Well, kind of. It's a floweryish print and it's purple...I
think it's pretty. You may want to make it smaller so that you can
see it on your doll's clothing better tho.
